I have less followers, so I am the wrong person to ask. Also, I realise, I am not a cool kid. And so why am I commenting?! LOL!
Funnily enough, this is one of the questions I received recently. I'm planning a blog post on it very soon, but beyond the following, commenting, etc I've found FaceBook to be useful, plus sites like Blog This, Blog Chicks, etc.
I have no advice. It seems to go in fits and starts though.I was in the 20s for ages. Then suddenly it shot up into the 50s. Stayed there, then suddenly was in the 90s for what felt like forever. I mean hovered around the 98/99 mark like a cricketer in the nervous 90s. I thought I'd never hit 100 (100 had never occurred to me until I hit 90). Then it stayed there for ages, and recently had another jump.Nothing ever changed really - though Blog This took me from the 50s to the 90s. So you're on the right track.
I have no idea, mine has stalled too. My plan was to do a giveaway or something but I don't know how that will work.
Bah, don't ask me...
well you all have more than me... the trick as far as I know is to blog regular, respond to people that comment, comment on other blogs..so your name gets out there... and keep it interesting and you do all that.... blogging is a very fluid thing... time and effort are the words that spring to mind...and therefore makes it not reliable... the begining of the year is always very busy for me...so have been a bit tooooo busy for blogging but hopefully am able to devote some time...
If all else fails, add more kittens :P
Follow lots of blogs. It may be hard to keep up with all the reading (I tend to read my favs in browers and skim through the rest on Google Reader, and you can't comment on all of them, not enough hours in the day!) but bloggers are loyal. If you follow them they will follow you. That's how I ended up with some followers, purely coz I'm a blog whore and love reading about lots of different people. And then they just follow me back.
