Maybe my lack of comments on the blogs I regularly visit has not been missed. Maybe I am just full of my own self-importance but have not been noticed as gone. But if some of you did here's why.

I did not chuck a YAAB tanty, I did not decide certain posts were not worthy...

DISQUS chewed me up and spat me out AGAIN! This time it was nearly two months of not being able to comment AT ALL on these blogs. I was at the point of deleting a lot of them from my blog list and then:

*POOF*

the fat pink DISQUS fairy Godmother decided to be magnanimous and allow me commenting priviledges once more. Why? God only knows, because I sure as hell don't.

I'm telling ya -  this is one annoying fairy to piss off!

Spoke too soon - Caitlyn, cannot comment on your blog! ARRGGGGGGGGGH! Knew I shouldn't a posted her photo, that friggin' fairy is so damn easy to piss off!

 

Here we go again... *sigh*.

Comment Nazi.

Probably showing my age here, but do you lot remember the soup Nazi episode of Seinfeld? I will add a disclaimer: I must be one of the few who actually disliked this show but sadly was forced to sit through many episodes with obsessed friends.

It's here for those unfamiliar. Well I am the comment Nazi. Yes, I have comment approval enabled here. Is it to screen comments? Well, not really. I have scam protection so most of the crap gets shoved into there before it even reaches my moderation. Is it so I can dictate and keep tight control, utilising censorship tools and exhibiting all the signs of prohibition of free speech? I'll admit a little. Some things such as my name, or my children's names are not used here and I like to keep it that way.

But in reality it is for one real purpose.

How else would this manic Madmother ever know someone has commented on a post, old or new?

Yep - it is my own private tracking system. And speaking of tracking, how good are the IP trackers so you can see what comes from where? Cool, eh.

Man, You Can Hear The Echo...

of me talking to myself! Everyone in blog world appears to be taking time out (perfectly understandable for the Easter holiday), and although the ticker is clicking over the comments have dried up.

I also have had some technical issues when attempting to comment on other blogs, so am wondering if you guys are having problems on mine? Bit scary when a HUGE error message jumps up:

Scares the beejebuz out of me, being the technophobe I am. I panic and close the window quickly hoping I haven't deleted someone's blog without even knowing what I did...

Feeling very sorry for myself. I am such a wuss when it comes to pain and being restricted to down time. Oops, forgot I didn't put it out here, but here.

Anybody? Somebody? Helloooooooooo... *Sigh*, off to take more pain relief.

 

Back on the Bandwagon - The First Award Catchup.

Not quite sure what to do here. I appreciate each and every comment left on my blog, no matter how long or short. The list would be endless if I started one to pass this on!
So to every person who has taken the time to let me know your thoughts, this is for you! To me you are all my top supporters/followers and I am humbled to think anyone reads my babbling.

Besides, I am pretty sure all of you commenters with blogs would have one already! No point in doubling up, just know you are appreciated by every blog you have ever commented on.

But keep your eyes peeled, I think there may be a new blog award on the horizon...

A Quickie

A very short blog entry just to let some people know... There are times I read your blogs and don't leave a comment. Not because they don't affect me, but because they move me so much. The strength of some in the blog world just amazes me, and what some of you have lived with, and what some are going through even now... well, you leave me speechless and without the words to express my awe and admiration. Do not ever assume I do not comment because I don't care, there are times I just cannot.

DAMMIT!

I am seriously going to cry or quit if I don't get some comments.
