When I would get teased
By people around me,
So-called friends at the school
Until they'd be influenced
By those they thought cool.
So now I am grown up
An adult it seems
Those days should be long past
Mere remnants of dreams
Well, I am disappointed
To find things just as bad
Friends turning their heads
Although mates are sad
If others attack
A friend, so you say
