The bit where I ask for help...

I am very new to the world of blogger. I have no idea how to upload custom templates, or add photos. I do not know how to install all the bells and whistles to make this a polished package to placate my perfectionist personality.

So - HELP! Any advice/information/tutelage gratefully welcomed.
