I was kicking myself over missing out on signing up for NaBloPoMo. Of course, it is beside the point that I was feeling low, and uninspired. My blog of late has been my emotional dumping ground, especially since I no longer trust my judgement in people. If only I had found my muse a little earlier in the month, I could be wallowing in the company of so many like minds.
For those who don't know, NaBloPoMo stands for National Blog Posting Month. The goal is to write at least one post every day for the whole of the month.
Then I had an epiphany! Well, really I guess it was more of a brain fart to be honest. NaBloPoMo runs year around - it is that November is so popular due to the yummy prizes donated by the generous members themselves. I can join after all. Now I just need to work my way past the barrage of excuses bubbling forth into conciousness.
- Coming up to Christmas, mighty busy.
- You'll be on holidays for a few days at least, so you'll fail.
- You should wait until the kids go back to school, you'll be able to concentrate then.
